The electronic door fitting from Uhlmann & Zacher in elegant stainless steel design replaces a mechanical door fitting. The door is opened using transponders (cards, fobs) and, depending on the variant, also using wireless switching modules or smartphones. The product is available in two wireless technologies of Bluetooth® Low Energy and 868 MHz. In addition to new buildings, existing mechanical locking systems can also be replaced with the modern wireless access system.
The special feature of the electronic door fitting is that the complete electronic and mechanical system, power supply and LED indicators are housed inside the handle. This makes it very easy to configure. Various handle shapes enable further applications, such as those required for public buildings. The version with narrow plate also fits on narrow frame doors. The short plate version is suitable for fire and smoke resistant doors, because the hole layout exactly matches the standard holes for this type of doors.
Thanks to the wide range of variants, the electronic door fitting offers the right solution for almost all types of doors, whether wooden door, plastic door, tubular frame door, escape door, fire or smoke resistant door. Thanks to its elegant stainless steel design, it adapts discretely to the architecture of the surroundings.
The electronic door fitting is characterized by a long battery life with up to 230,000 openings per battery.
