The electronic half cylinder from Uhlmann & Zacher in a modern stainless steel design replaces a mechanical half cylinder. The locking cylinder can be installed, for example, in key switches for garage doors, padlocks for containers or server cabinet locks. Authorization takes place via transponders, for example cards or fobs.
With an authorized transponder, the electronic knob can be separated from the cylinder housing, making it particularly easy to dismantle. Changing the battery and thus removing the cover is only possible with the appropriate authorization.
The electronic half cylinder is characterized by a long battery life with up to 80,000 openings per battery set.

Thanks to the simple assembly of the universally applicable knob module with Uhlmann & Zacher locking cylinders, quick on-site conversion is possible without any problems. The combination of inidivual components creates a variety of electronic locking units.
