Electronic Knob Cylinder

Modern and flexible

The electronic knob cylinder from Uhlmann & Zacher in modern stainless steel design replaces a mechanical locking cylinder. The door is opened using transponders (cards, fobs) and, depending on the version, also using radio switching modules or smartphones. The product is available in two radio technologies of Bluetooth® Low Energy and 868 MHz. In addition to new buildings, existing mechanical locking systems can also be replaced with the modern wireless access system.

Suitable for almost all types of doors

Thanks to the numerous available models, the electronic knob cylinder offers the right solution for almost all types of doors. Be it glass door, wooden door, plastic door, tubular frame door, escape door, fire or smoke resistant door.

Versatile in configuration thanks to modular design

The product characterised by its modular design, as it allows individual components (cylinder housings, knobs) to be flexibly replaced and can thus be adapted to the respective installation situation and individual requirements.

With double knob cylinder, half cylinder, furniture lock adapter or cylinder housing for special lengths, round Swiss profile, Scandinavian oval or the fire protection cylinder for fire and smoke resistant doors up to T90, the electronic knob cylinder can be used universally.

Safe to disassemble and replace the battery only with authorisation

The electronic knob can be separated from the cylinder housing and thus be disassembled very easily with an authorised transponder. Even battery replacement and thus cover removal is possible just with appropriate authorisation.

Energy efficient

The electronic knob cylinder is characterized by a long battery life with up to 80,000 openings per battery set.
