Outdoor readers are exposed to extreme weather conditions and have to withstand high loads. Therefore, U&Z has developed this weather-resistant wall mounted reader with IP67 protection class. Outdoor systems such as barriers and turnstile systems and electric door and gate systems can be controlled with the wall mounted reader. The common transponder technologies of EM/HITAG, MIFARE® and LEGIC® are available. You can also choose between radio (868 MHz) and Bluetooth® Low Energy (2.4 GHz). The housing is designed discretely in anthracite.
The wall mounted reader can be additionally connected to a safety relay module for use in unsecured areas. The safety relay module is then located in a separate secure area.
In addition, systems such as lifts, mailboxes and lockers can be controlled by connecting with a remote module. The wall mounted reader from U&Z can thus be used in various areas of application.
