Electronic readers have to be able to sometimes withstand extreme weather conditions, especially outdoors. Uhlmann & Zacher has hence developed the weather-resistant Wall Mounted Reader CX6134 specially for outdoor use. It is dust and waterproof as per IP67 protection class and thus protected against water ingression up to temporary immersion. Owing to the high protection class, the reader is able to operate reliably outdoors. The product is therefore especially suitable for use in outdoor systems like electrical doors and gate systems as well as barrier and turnstile systems. The CX6134 can be connected to the system both offline and online. Due to the online connection, the product can also be used as an Online Programming Terminal CX6554. Thus, it is possible to write authorisation on the transponder, which, for example, only apply for the day using the wall-mounted reader. The optical and audible signals make intuitive operation possible. The new wall-mounted reader is available for all the U&Z systems (Clex prime, Clex private, Clex public), the automatic programming terminal for the Clex prime system.
