In November 2021, Uhlmann & Zacher reached another milestone in the history of the company: sale of the 1,000,000th electronic locking unit! There is a special reason to be pleased, because the anniversary door handle is installed by our long-time partner, Georg Jungblut Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, in the building of the science and technology company Merck KGaA.
The company Georg Jungblut Sicherheitstechnik GmbH was founded in 1998 in Stockstadt am Rhein and has since focused on safety systems for locking. At this point, Uhlmann & Zacher would like express its thanks for many years of good partnership!
The door handle with golden design was handed over by Dr. Marc Zacher to Merck KGaA, with headoffice in Darmstadt. The handover and subsequent company tour took place on 3rd August 2022 together with Hartmut Morgenroth, head of security at Merck Darmstadt, Jens Schubert and Georg Jungblut, Managing Directors of Georg Jungblut Sicherheitstechnik GmbH. "I am very pleased to hand over the electronic door handle with the serial number 1 million to you today," said Dr. Marc Zacher, Managing Director of Uhlmann & Zacher. "This milestone confirms our steady growth and shows the success of our company and our customers." It was only in 2017 that U&Z achieved a great milestone by selling its 500,000th electronic locking unit. Despite the challenges of the coronavirus crisis, sales have now doubled and the company has recorded the sale of the 1,000,000th electronic locking unit in just four years.
