The issue of sustainability is becoming increasingly important for companies. For that reason, we have already had the climate-neutral company label for several years. From January 1, 2024, Uhlmann & Zacher will also use the sustainable shipping GoGreen Plus Basic by DHL.
In concrete terms, this means that the sustainable fuel SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) is used for shipments by plane. SAF is obtained from environmentally friendly sources, such as waste oil or residues from agriculture and forestry. This allows greenhouse gas emissions to be reduced by up to 80% over the entire life cycle compared to conventional kerosene. In this way, around 30% of CO2 emissions are saved for every TDI shipment. We are pleased to once again make a contribution to climate protection.
